Teaching Assistant job summary
Contract Details: 1 or 2 days per week, 8.40am-3.15pm 39 weeks a year
We are looking for an experienced and talented Teaching Assistant, who has experience in EYFS. This is a varied role which includes delivering a variety of high impact interventions to individuals and small groups of children in EYFS, as well as providing high quality classroom support.
The person that we are looking for needs to:
Relish the challenge of supporting learning in an ambitious and diverse school.
Have an understanding of child development and how to support children particularly within the prime areas.
Work with dynamic, forward thinking staff with high aspirations for our children.
Be a teaching assistant who exemplifies outstanding classroom practice, behaviour, management and high expectations
Be committed to life-long learning and open to excellent CPD opportunities.
Have good levels of English and Maths competence - GCSE C or equivalent and preferably Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
