What skills and experience we're looking for
To work with the Special Needs Team supporting the learning and/or emotional needs of students on the Individual Needs register. This involves working in a variety of ways to support a range of difficulties and may include some personal care. The successful candidate will liaise with teaching staff, support students in class and in intervention sessions, mentor students, write reports and attend support strategy meetings as required. This post requires a flexible person with a good standard of literacy and numeracy, who relates well to others and is keen to make a difference to the prospects of the young people on the Selsey peninsula. The preferred candidate will be educated to Graduate level although other relevant qualifications will be considered.
