TEACHING ASSISTANT

Job share – 3 days per week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays)

Based on working 39 weeks per annum

3 days (18.75 hours) per week - £9,848.94 per annum

We are looking for someone to job share the role of Teaching Assistant within the school’s Design Technology Department, supporting teaching and learning. The successful candidate will provide in-class support to students, mostly in Food lessons. Previous classroom experience would be advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will also provide technician support within DT, mainly within Food Preparation and Nutrition, helping to organise and set up practical lessons, and helping to clear away so that the classroom will be ready for the next lesson.

This role would suit someone who is practical, organised and who is able to take the initiative and use common sense.

The specific days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the start time will be 8.15am, and finish time will be 3.10pm.
