What skills and experience we're looking for
We are currently looking to appoint highly motivated Teaching Assistants. This post is a role supporting learners with SEND in The Village School as part of the Compass Learning Partnership Multi Academy Trust, but you may be required to work across the Trust.

Term Time Only at The Village School
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who have:
- NVQ 2 or equivalent childcare qualification or a commitment to training towards this qualification
- Experience of working with young children
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The enthusiasm and ability to motivate young children and build on their successes.
- A commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children.
- Experience of working collaboratively within a team of people to provide a stimulating learning environment.
- The ability to share your expertise, knowledge and understanding of young children’s needs and achievements with parents.
- Willingness to give 100%!
Hours of work will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm and Tuesday 8.30am – 5.00pm (34.75 hours per week), including a 45-minute unpaid break throughout the day, but will be subject to change from time to time with notice.
This is a term-time-only post.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure by the DBS and all checks in relation to KCSIE September 2024 will be carried out.
