What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Has some previous experience of working with children with special needs (this is not essential).
  • CBT experience preferable but not essential.
  • Is enthusiastic, resourceful and understanding when working with children.
  • Has a positive outlook and is a good team worker.
  • Is able to deliver support programmes in small groups or 1:1 situations, as well as provide support within a whole class situation.
  • To support the class teacher/tutor in order to ensure the delivery of a high-quality education for all students
  • To provide relevant and appropriate support to students, on an individual or group basis, in order to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
