What skills and experience we're looking for
- Has some previous experience of working with children with special needs (this is not essential).
- CBT experience preferable but not essential.
- Is enthusiastic, resourceful and understanding when working with children.
- Has a positive outlook and is a good team worker.
- Is able to deliver support programmes in small groups or 1:1 situations, as well as provide support within a whole class situation.
- To support the class teacher/tutor in order to ensure the delivery of a high-quality education for all students
- To provide relevant and appropriate support to students, on an individual or group basis, in order to enable them to access the curriculum as independently as possible
