What skills and experience we're looking for
Thorpe Hesley Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed full time teaching assistant to join the friendly team at our outstanding school. The role is to support children including children with additional needs. We are looking for someone who is creative, passionate and patient to join our committed and friendly team.
Previous experience of working with children is required and you must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Applicants should also have a GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent. Applicants need to be flexible, numerate, IT literate, punctual, reliable and be willing to undertake training as required.
You will also be expected to provide basic first aid as part of the school day (full training will be provided).
