What is the job role?

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in and out of the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher and other staff to help deliver learning activities, provide personalised support for individual pupils, and help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Contributing to record-keeping and communication with families and professionals

This is a rewarding and varied role that requires patience, compassion, resilience and a genuine desire to help children achieve their full potential.

✔️ The ability to contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

In this role, you’ll support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons, implement specialist programmes, manage resources, and help create positive learning experiences for all pupils. You’ll also need to be proactive in supporting children’s personal development and wellbeing, and have the skills to help manage behaviour positively.

If you’re motivated, adaptable, and ready to support our school vision – we’d love to hear from you!
