What skills and experience we're looking for
Tockwith Church of England Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic and supportive team within a high achieving and attaining school. The position will be based in upper Key stage 2. We ensure that children develop a range of qualities, attitudes and skills that will prepare them effectively for the future, underpinned by our core Christian values of Creativity, Friendship and Perseverance.

As a school we work together to make an exciting and positive environment in which our children flourish, we are continually developing to ensure we continue to be effective, successful and ambitious in developing our pupils holistically.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about
teaching and learning and who believes in developing the true potential of
children. You will have a calm and positive disposition, the ability to break
down activities into small step teaching and will nurture, inspire, challenge
and motivate pupils. Implementing clear boundaries and routines, you will use
behaviour management in all areas around school.You will have experience
of working with children in a supportive capacity and have good verbal
communication skills. You will have strong time management and organisational
skills and work well as part of a team.
