Teaching Assistant job summary
Willowbrook Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its friendly team and provide support to pupils on a part-time basis, working Thursdays and Fridays from September 2025.
Working Hours: Part time (13 hours per week, Thursday and Friday, 39 weeks per year, includes Teacher Training days).
We are a small, warm and welcoming school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the heart of Trowbridge in Wiltshire, we are part of inclusive community where we respect, appreciate and support each other and our environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you must be able to work across all age ranges within our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities, including those requiring SEN support, liaising with teachers and SENCO.

- Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
- Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent;

- Has a positive and flexible attitude;
- Has experience of supporting children’s learning.
