What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support the work of the SEND Department for pupils with SEND, complex and/or additional needs and their families. The post-holder will be required to support the physical needs and care of pupils.
For the post the successful candidate will have at least GCSE English & Maths Grade C or 4 (or the equivalent) and the ability to access a range of curriculum areas. A willingness and ability to undertake any necessary training is essential for the post.
The successful candidate will be expected to support pupils in the classroom as well as to provide additional support and intervention. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with previous experience of supporting pupils with SEND needs/disabilities within the classroom.
