We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with our Upper KS2 children.
We are seeking to appoint a creative, committed and enthusiastic person to work as part of our team here at Trowse School. This is a very exciting opportunity to join an outstanding school, in a new purpose-built building. Hours of work, 11.5 hours per week (2 days per week, Thursday/Friday), 8.30am–12.15pm and 1.15pm – 3.15pm.
We are looking to appoint someone who:
- genuinely enjoys working with children, showing them respect and fostering their all-round development;
- has experience of working with children in schools;
- has a good understanding of the National Curriculum
- knows the expectations of the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum
- possesses good personal literacy, numeracy and ICT skills;
- is flexible, calm and enjoys working as part of a strong team;
- has the interpersonal skills to develop positive and supportive relationships with children, staff and Parents;
- has the ability to use their own initiative to support learning needs of children;
- has a sense of humour and lots of energy!
