The Governors of Drayton CE Junior School are seeking to recruit two Classroom Assistants to join our hardworking, experienced and supportive team from 1 September 2025.
The post is for up to 27.5 hours per week and will include 30 mins midday supervisory assistance. Please state in your application how many hours you would be interested in.
This is a temporary fixed term post for 1 year from 01.09.25 to 31.08.26 working term time plus 1 week (39 weeks).
You will need to work across KS2 providing a combination of in class, small group and one to one support. The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the class teacher and/ or SENCO ensuring that all children receiving additional support do so to a high standard, encouraging independence and enjoyment in learning. Please note that the successful candidate(s) will be expected to support children with intimate care.

- Has good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Is creative and has a willingness to offer new ideas.
Experience of working in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
