Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Teaching Assistant will be expected to support these students in their mainstream lessons. The post may also involve supporting students with SEND in small group work.
Applications are welcome from experienced Teaching Assistants and those considering this, or teaching, as a career. Previous post holders have gone on to complete ITT programmes and enter the teaching profession. The role, therefore, provides excellent preparation for those aspiring to teach.
Wembley High Technology College is a co-educational secondary academy based in North Wembley (Brent), for students aged 11 - 18. It is a part of the Wembley Multi Academy Trust and has an established reputation for a strong focus on academic excellence. Over the last five years we have been the highest-achieving non-denominational school in Brent.
