Job details

• Job role:
  • Teaching assistant
• Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
• Key stage: Early years, Key stage 1, Key stage 2
• Working pattern: Part time: 17.5 hours per week, working from 11.45am straight through to 3.15pm.
• Contract type: Fixed term - 10 months
• Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour

What skills and experience we're looking for

The applicant will need the following key skills:

A good standard of English and Maths (GCSE grade 4 or above or equivalent)

Teaching Assistant qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

Experience with working with children

Good communication skills

A good team player

The ability to be calm under pressure

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.

Visas cannot be sponsored.

You will assist in supervising lunch times and support teaching and learning in the classroom and work with small groups of pupils. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, is flexible and caring and is keen to play an active role in our school community.
