Teaching Assistant job summary
Wimborne St Giles First school are seeking a dynamic and proactive teaching assistant fin their Year 3/4 Class.
The hours are 09am-13.20pm. - Monday to Thursday . (17 Hours 20 Minutes a week).
This is a fixed term role until 22nd April 2026.
We are looking for someone who is:

Confidently interact with children with enthusiasm and patience
Build relationships with pupils, staff and parents and show excellent interpersonal skills
To meet the social and emotional needs of the children
Foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and able to set clear boundaries for children’s behaviour.
Successful applicants will have:
A good understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety procedures
A calm and positive approach and a warm personality
A childcare qualification or equivalent and experience of working with young children
Good time management and organisational skills
A commitment to excellence in all they do, fostering high expectations of all pupils, including vulnerable groups.
