We are looking for someone who:

  • is passionate about children’s learning, in particular have a passion for understanding additional learning needs

  • has a rich knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn, in particular pupils with SEND

  • is passionate about outdoor learning and has a drive to embed this into the schools curriculum and ethos

  • is eager to expand their knowledge, skills and understanding of teaching and broaden approaches

  • has experience of working within a school setting and managing pupil behaviour positively

  • has experience in supporting teaching and learning on a 1:1 and small group basis

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team to support the school in providing the best possible standards of teaching and learning for our school community. We are seeking somebody that is passionate about both indoor and outdoor learning who would be responsible for leading our Forest School curriculum in addition to their responsibilities towards supporting teaching and learning in the classroom. The role requires someone who is passionate about children’s learning and who has a rich knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn. We are looking for candidates with energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to support us in this work.
