Fixed Term to 31.8.26 in the first instance
TA role D Grade - £13.26-£13.47 - 18 hours per week. Term Time plus one week.
MSA role A Grade £12.65 per hour 1.5 hours per week. Term time only.
8.30-3.30 pm. Three days per week. Days worked to be discussed at interview.

Purpose of the Role
Teaching Assistant - You will promote students' independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion, providing tailored support to individuals or small groups to help them access the curriculum and experience a sense of achievement.
The ideal candidate will be a supportive presence in the classroom, actively contributing to inclusive practices and leading learning sessions with confidence. The role also plays a key part in building upon the successes of the school, helping to drive forward improvements towards an outstanding future for all pupils.
As a Teaching Assistant, your role is to work collaboratively with class teachers to enhance the learning and attainment of pupils, ensuring they reach their full potential.
You will work in line with statutory safeguarding guidance and policies, promoting the safeguarding and protection of all pupils in the school. As part of this role you will demonstrate integrity, maintain high expectations, and show consideration for upholding the highest standards of care for children, staff, parents, and the wider community.
As a Midday Supervisor Assistant you are responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and appropriate conduct of pupils during the lunchtime period. This includes supervision in classrooms, the dining room, playground, and while pupils are moving between areas.
The role involves assisting pupils during mealtimes, and clearing away afterwards to maintain a clean and orderly environment.
You will support pupils by encouraging positive behaviour, promoting respectful interactions, and helping to resolve minor conflicts. A key part of the role is fostering inclusive play and encouraging children to engage with one another in a friendly and cooperative manner, helping to build social skills and a sense of community.
You will also provide basic first aid when needed and communicate effectively with teaching staff to report any concerns or incidents, always adhering to the school’s safeguarding and health and safety policies.
