Scale A, pt 3 £12.85 (MSA) 

  • Fixed term until 31.8.27 initially, but may continue 
  • Part-time  
  • 11 hours 20 minutes per week (TA) 
  • 1 hour split over two days (MSA) 
  • Term time plus 1 week 
  • Required to start 1 September 2026 


We are seeking a hardworking, enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our lovely school and the Bressingham team. The role will initially be based in our reception class. Working hours: Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:40am – 3.20pm


We are looking for someone who ideally: 

  • Has experience of working with children. 
  • Has a positive ‘can do’ attitude and is able to set clear, firm expectations for behaviour.  
  • Is flexible in supporting children in class, small group work and 1:1 as required. 
  • Has an understanding of children with additional needs. 
  • Has an adaptive, consistent and kind approach when supporting children to do their best. 
  • Is able to follow SEN and care plans. 
  • Has good English, maths and phonics skills and is confident to work in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. 
  • Can communicate well and form positive relationships with children, parents and has the ability to work as a team. 
  • Can liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO to ensure learning takes place at the appropriate level. 
  • Can confidently carry out midday supervisory assistant duties, including helping to set up, monitor and clear up after lunches, and supervise and facilitate successful playtimes for children.
