We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join an amazing team of enthusiastic professionals in our specialist all-through free school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. At Bowman Academy we provide a tailored curriculum designed to prepare pupils for life after school and become Ambitious, Respectful, Curious, Happy, Empowered & Resilient
We require a motivated and resilient teaching assistant who is highly ambitious and will ‘go above and beyond’ to ensure the children make outstanding progress.
The school officially opened inAugust 2024 and is part of the Community Inclusive Trust, a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

As a Teaching Assistant at Bowman Academy, you will:
- Support pupils with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
- Build strong, trusting relationships using a calm, consistent and empathetic approach
- Work closely with teaching staff to deliver a tailored curriculum
- Assist in developing pupils’ social and emotional skills
- Support de-escalation, behaviour regulation and restorative approaches
- Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive school environment
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required
We are looking for someone who is:
