Early Years Practitioner and Teaching Assistant with SEN Responsibilities

Starting grade: Grade 3 for Early Years Practitioner and Grade 4 for Teaching Assistant.

Contract: Fixed term

Start date: 8th October 2026

End date: 20th July 2027

Hours of work: Two days a week - Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm including 30 minutes lunch cover. One day in Preschool and one day across the rest of the school, term time only

We are seeking talented individuals to join our dynamic TA team.

We are looking for a teaching assistant with SEN Responsibilities who has:

  • Experience of working with primary aged SEN pupils.
  • High expectations of themselves and the children with whom they work.
  • Creativity and flair.
  • Dedication, energy and resilience.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability and desire to work as part of a team.

We are looking for early years practitioners who have:

  • NVQ L2 or above in Childcare or equivalent preferred
