What is the job role?

The Governors of Park Hill Primary School are seeking to appoint a hardworking, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with SEND responsibilities to join our Early Years Team, who holds a Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification.  The role involves support children with special educations needs of disabilities, ensuring they have access to the same learning opportunities as their peers.

The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 12:00pm-4:00pm

The start date for this post is April 2025 (ASAP).

The pro-rata pay for this role is £11,569-£12,128

This is a Fixed Term contract till 31 August 2025

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate, caring with a knowledge of SEND who understands the development needs and can support learning gaps.  

Someone who:

  • has recent experience or working with children in a school setting 
  • holds a Level2 or 3 childcare qualification.
  • has a knowledge of SEND and knows how to adapt to the provision to meet needs
  • can understand developmental needs and support learning gaps
