At Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School, we are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming school community.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils and teachers, supporting children both in and out of the classroom. You will help create a positive learning environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their very best.
What You Will Do As A Learning Support Assistant:
- Support the teacher in monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress/activities
- Support learning by arranging/providing resources for lessons/activities under the direction of the teacher
- Understand and support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils
- Support pupils in developing and implementing their own personal and social development
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- A good relevant education to GCSE Level or equivalent
- Previous experience of working with children in an educational setting.
- Commitment to working within the School’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures
- Have a willingness to extend skills through appropriate training
- High levels of professional integrity, energy and enthusiasm
- An ability to quickly adapt to changes
