What skills and experience we're looking for

Allens Croft Primary School is a diverse, fully inclusive two-form entry school, with three Resource Base classes, set in extensive grounds in the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. We are looking to appoint committed and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our team.

We would like to recruit a teaching assistant who:

• Has experience of working within a primary school setting
• Has excellent behaviour management skills
• Builds positive relationships and is a role model for the children they support
• Has high expectations of pupils and themselves
• Is able to work closely with, and values the contribution of parents/carers
• Is committed to ongoing learning and development
• Supports the aspirational ethos of the school and is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential

Applications are particularly welcomed from those with SEND experience or graduates looking to get into teaching.
