What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

  • Be able to contribute to the delivery, and evaluation of the learning process
  • Someone who can work with others and support colleagues to ensure effective learning is taking place
  • Be committed to personalised learning to meet our children and young peoples’ needs
  • Ideally hold previous experience within the SEND sector would be desirable, but not essential
  • Be a motivated, excellent teaching assistant who has a commitment to the learning and progress of children with special educational needs.
  • Someone with a good sense of humour, resilience and strong determination
  • A person who can work on their own initiative and also work well as part of a team.
  • Experienced in managing behaviours that challenge with knowledge of strategies and therapies that support engagement in learning
