have the ability to work as part of a team as well as the confidence and keenness to work on their own initiative - to lead projects or interventions,
can work well under pressure, are resilient in nature and have a good sense of humour.

Beormund Primary school serves children with complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. All of our children arrive with an Education & Health Care Plan (EHCP) with a plethora of needs such as SCLN, trauma and attachment, ADHD, ASD, ODD et al. All of our children need patience, time and care.

We rely on a successful, experienced and capable team of people, dedicated to improving the life chances of those who have already experienced suspensions or exclusions from mainstream setting(s). We are currently looking to recruit new members to our support staff team - people who can look beyond the behaviours children display as we seek to establish the messages they are attempting to communicate. Our curriculum is personalised with an aim to support, challenge and inspire children. Our collective drive is to reignite their love for learning, to hold self-belief and for them to achieve.

We hold high expectations of our children who make accelerated academic progress as well as improve their social and emotional responses and behaviours.
