Further details about the role

Are you an emotionally intelligent, engaging professional who is passionate about education? Are you looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work in a school where nothing surprises you and no two days are the same? This is a highly rewarding role in a fantastic, challenging and unique school for someone with extensive school experience whilst working with vulnerable children.

Beormund Primary school serves children with complex social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. All of our children arrive with an Education & Health Care Plan (EHCP) with a plethora of needs such as SCLN, trauma and attachment, ADHD, ASD, ODD et al. We hold high expectations of our children who make accelerated academic progress as well as improve their social and emotional responses and behaviours. Successful candidates will have the responsibility for keeping children safe, enhancing their self-esteem, providing appropriate challenge as well as supporting teachers in delivering purposeful, inspiring and engaging learning experiences. We live by the values of Honesty, Integrity, Empathy, Perseverance, Resilience and Ambition in all we do here at the school.
