About the role
We are currently looking to appoint two Teaching & Learning Support Assistants to join our SEND team. The two posts available are to support our students in Inclusion and Pastoral areas and within the classroom.
We are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and compassionate individuals who want to make a real difference in our students learning. For further information regarding this vacancy please look at our recruitment pack.
The ideal candidate
- Good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language
- Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards
- Understanding of the education system
- Understanding of how children learn
- A sound grasp of the concept of inclusive practice
- Knowledge of the concept of confidentiality
- Awareness of child protection issues
