Teaching Partner, Maternity Cover job summary

North Leigh is a thriving and inclusive village school with supportive staff, Governors and parents and enthusiastic, well-motivated children.

We are looking to recruit a term time only Teaching Partner to work four days per week from 8.30am to 3.10pm. Preferred days are Tuesday to Friday but we are happy to discuss this. This is a maternity cover position which we anticipate will run from 29 June 2026 to 9 April 2027. In the event that the individual you are covering returns earlier than initially planned, the contract will likewise end earlier.

The salary the role attracts is on Grade 4, scp 4, £ 25,185 FTE, pro rata to the part time hours, and term time only working.

North Leigh CE Primary School, as a member of the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust, is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders will be subject to appropriate vetting procedures and a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced check. Online checks may also be carried out to comply with KCSIE.
