Head of Maths job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our highly regarded and welcoming school in a leadership position where you can make a real difference to the education of our young people.

Maths forms a fundamental part of the education at Perins. The skills that the students are taught throughout their time in the department not only allows them to study more advanced topics in other related fields such as Chemistry and Physics, but also equips them with the essential knowledge that they need for further education and a future career.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and strong communicator, who has the ability to inspire students and colleagues. They will be expected to assist with the planning and delivery of Mathematics throughout the school. This is an exciting opportunity to lead an experienced team of teachers, and the successful candidate will have a significant impact in shaping the department’s future.
