Technican - Technology Department job summary

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are looking to recruit a Technician for the Technology Department to work 28 hours per week for 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days). This role will be based at St Augustine’s Catholic High School.

The successful candidate will:

• Support the teaching of technology, working with delegated authority and under the overall direction of the Head of Department.
• Provide technician support and advice service and meet health and safety standards and the requirements of classes involved.
• Coordinate the use of practical resources and facilities and provide assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the curriculum, including liaising with teaching staff and support staff outside the department
