5 Dimensions Trust is currently advertising for the following exciting permanent opportunity to start at Shenley Brook End School

Technician for PE, Music and Drama

Permanent

Salary: Grade 5 £28,608 - £32,046 pro rata, £24,826 - £27,809 actual

37 hours per week, term time plus training days (39 weeks per year)

Mon - Thurs 8.30am - 4.30pm and Fri 8.30am - 4.00pm with a half hour unpaid break

Some flexibility will be required due to events taking place in the evenings or weekends.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a proactive and well organised person to become the Technician for PE, Music and Drama for Shenley Brook End School. You will support the work of students and staff in the PE, Drama and Music departments and across whole school initiatives.

You will have responsibility for technical support and preparation for Drama and Music exam groups and whole school productions, maintain and order equipment and resources and assist in the editing of recording footage for examinations.

The ideal candidate will: -

Have experience with ETC lighting desks

Have knowledge of video editing and use of video cameras

Have previous experience of working with young people in a theatre capacity

Want to make a difference to the children in our care
