About the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Food, Art & Design Technology Technician to join our dynamic team at Stamford Welland Academy. This is an exciting opportunity to support our growing Design Technology and Art departments—primarily DT—by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and assisting students with practical coursework.
You’ll be working closely with passionate educators and students, helping to bring creative projects to life through hands-on support with tools, machinery, and digital equipment such as laser cutters and 3D printers. Full training will be provided.
What You’ll Do- Prepare and maintain tools, materials, and equipment for lessons.
- Support students during practical sessions.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in workshops.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance the learning environment.
- Assist with stock control and ordering of materials.
- A practical, hands-on individual with a love for tools and making.
