Technology Technician job summary

Hours: 20 hours per week term time only (over 39 weeks)

Contract: Permanent

Salary Grade: WHFNJC L7-L15 Actual Salary = £11,265 - £12,926

The Ridgeway School and Sixth Form College is a large secondary school based in Wroughton. Our students are proud of our school community and enjoy fast-paced and highly rewarding environment with extensive extra-curricular opportunities.

We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for a Technology Technician to join our team, providing practical support for Design & Technology, specifically being able to operate electrical and mechanical machinery and equipment (for example circular saw, band saw, pillar drill , laser cutter, lathe etc) or be willing to train.

All About You

Do you have what it takes to join us? Technology Technician we would like to join us will:

Have a minimum of GCSE Grade C in Maths and English.

Have knowledge of Health and Safety in a school environment.

Be confident in providing practical support for technology subjects.
