What skills and experience we're looking for

We wish to appoint a dynamic, passionate and inspirational individual to teach girls PE at this popular and successful 13–18 academy. The post is part time, working preferably on a Wednesday and Thursday, but we will be flexible. The successful applicant will be expected to teach across the whole-ability range, core and GCSE PE. Applications are welcome from both experienced teachers and those who are newly qualified.

We are looking for a teacher with infectious enthusiasm who is able to communicate clearly, is sensitive to the needs of young adults and has the ability to use initiative and vision to encourage others. We expect the person to work as part of a team and be willing to participate in all aspects of Academy life and lead on extracurricular activities as well as contribute to continuous improvements in student progress and attainment.
