Temporary Nursery Teaching Assistant job summary
Are you a cheerful, positive person who enjoys working in a dedicated team of staff who support children and families?
The Headteacher and Governors at Beechwood Primary School and Nursery are looking to appoint an experienced nursery teaching assistant for September 2022 to work with pupils in EYFS.
We are looking for a nursery teaching assistant who shares our school values and has the ability and enthusiasm to work with children within small groups and as part of a whole class.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about children and their learning, who is enthusiastic and approachable with a good sense of humour. In return we can offer a welcoming school with children who are happy and willing to learn, an enthusiastic and supportive staff and a Senior Leadership Team who prioritise staff well-being.
This is initially a temporary contract for one year. However, there is scope for the position to become permanent for the right candidates.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment, therefore, the successful candidate is subject to stringent vetting processes and an enhanced DBS check.
