What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of Hunter’s Bar Infant School are seeking to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and successful temporary part time Reception class teacher from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027 (working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday). The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality teaching, which offers the best possible inclusive education for our children.

You will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who can inspire a love of learning
  • Have a commitment to raising achievement for all within our diverse school community
  • Be an excellent communicator, with high levels of emotional intelligence who is able to work in partnership with parents, governors and the community
  • Have an excellent understanding of the new curriculum and assessment in Key Stage One
  • Be a positive role model within school
