Further details about the role

The governors at Lammack Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary full time PPA cover teacher.

Lammack Community Primary School is a ‘large school with a small family feel’ (OFSTED 2022) which is desirable to work at due to the hardworking children, fantastic staff team spirit and excellent environment and facilities. ‘This is an ambitious school where pupils’ academic and personal development are equally important. Leaders ensure that pupils’ skills develop well across the wider curriculum. As a result, pupils are confident, resilient learners and are prepared thoroughly for the next stage of their education’. (OFSTED 2017)

This position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to join Lammack during a significant period of expansion as it grows from a 2.5 form entry school to a 3 form entry school. There will be a year on year increase for the following five years and so the successful candidate would be joining the school at the optimum time for future prospects.

This post could suit someone early in their career who would like experience across the school but particularly enjoys working with Year 5 and 6 children.
