Temporary School Administrator job summary
At Brunel Primary and Nursery Academy, we pride ourselves on being more than just a school - we are a family - and we are looking for a warm, organised and enthusiastic Administrator to become an important part of our team. Working at the heart of our busy school office, you will help provide a welcoming first point of contact for our children, families and visitors, while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the academy. The role will include responding to telephone and email enquiries, supporting attendance and pupil administration, maintaining accurate records and school systems, assisting with communications to families, managing routine office tasks and providing administrative support to the Headteacher and wider staff team. We are looking for someone who is approachable, efficient, flexible and able to juggle different priorities while always putting our children and families first. Hours: 15-25 hours, this is flexible and can be discussed.
Working weeks: 38 weeks per year (Term time only)
Paid weeks: 43.699 per year (includes holiday entitlement)
Rate of pay: £ 25,948.96 (Actual salary based on 15hours pw £8,816.27)

About you
We would like to appoint a charismatic person to:
Efficiently manage the day-to-day running of the School’s admin office
Provide efficient and confidential administrative support to the Head of School
Ensure Trust administrative and financial systems are established and maintained
Manage statutory data returns
If you have the ability to work on your own initiative but also work as part of a wider team we would like to hear from you. Experience of working in an office environment is essential.
