We are one of the most successful schools in Luton and have a thriving 6th form with 300 students. We have been consistently described by Ofsted as a ‘good’ school and under Section 48 as an ‘outstanding Catholic school’.
An opportunity exists for a part-time Textiles Technician to support the management and delivery of the Textiles curriculum. The daily responsibilities will include the following:
- Preparation of fabric components prior to lessons.
- Ordering, organising and recording of materials and equipment.
- Assisting with exam preparation and displays.
- Assisting students in class when required.
- To be responsible for photographing and displaying student work.
- Ensure that equipment is working and available for lessons and the room is tidy. Preparing and clearing away of materials as required. Ensuring routine maintenance of equipment is done.
