Theatre Technician and IT Support

35 hours per week term time plus 10 days

Salary Scale 5 Point 13 - £28,163 per annum (£25,277.24 pro rata)

1 Year Fixed Term Contract Initially (part-time applications will be considered)

We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to support the exciting development of the Performing Arts and Audio Visual experiences across our school. This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside a talented team, providing expertise and assistance to both staff and students in the Performing Arts Department while contributing to the broader IT needs of the school.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Technical Theatre, with confidence in rigging, operating, and maintaining theatrical lighting and sound equipment. A strong working knowledge of IT is essential, and any experience with photography or computer-aided editing software will be an added advantage.

As a key member of our team, you will interact with a wide variety of people at all levels, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must. You will thrive in a collaborative, flexible, and adaptable environment where teamwork is central to success.
