Transition and Marketing Lead job summary

We are seeking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic Transition Lead, to have oversight of, and coordinate, primary to secondary transition arrangements, processes, and events.

Your opportunity

Highdown School and Sixth Form are looking for a Transition and Marketing Lead who is seeking an exciting new opportunity to join our highly skilled team and play a key role in shaping our students’ academic journey. The purpose of this role is to support the transition process for our students and to market the academy through online media streams, the school website, parent newsletters, and marketing materials.

You should be a highly motivated and successful individual who is willing to contribute to all aspects of the school vision.  A strong organiser and communicator with the ability to work alongside the SLT while displaying a high level of autonomy by using your own initiative.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: GLF Specialist FTE £32,362 (actual salary £23,795)

Working pattern: 30 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (Term time plus one week)

Closing Date: 29th April 2026 at 9.30am
