What skills and experience we're looking for

St Teresa of Calcutta Academy Trust Central Team are currently seeking a Trust Assessment & Data Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust

The successful candidate will join the Trust Data Team and be part of the team that:

  • Provides effective and efficient data and information management support to schools and the central team.
  • Acts as an initial point of contact for schools for all Assessment and Assessment data queries.
  • Assist with inputting, retrieval and manipulation of assessment data in support of monitoring school improvement and in ensuring pupil progress.
  • Works with schools, and the Trust; to create data reports, for a wide range of audiences.

We are seeking an individual who:

The successful candidate should be committed, passionate about their role, dynamic and supportive with a commitment to working collaboratively.

They should be educated to GCSE level as a minimum (with English and Maths passes being essential) and have a high level of transferable ICT skills including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and advanced use of Excel Spreadsheets. A good eye for detail with a flexible and adaptable approach, able to work as part of the team or autonomously as needed.

Previous working experience of Arbor (or other modern school MIS) and GL Assessments, NFER Assessments etc. would be an advantage, as would knowledge of analytics/school support platforms such as SISRA, SMID, Timetabler etc.
