We are seeking a passionate Trust Cleaning Manager to lead our cleaning teams. The successful candidate will have the drive, determination and enthusiasm to provide exceptional service. Creative and innovative, our Trust Cleaning Manager will develop and deliver an exceptional service across the Wellspring community. The role involves travel around the Trust academies across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the Humber.
Creative and innovative, the Trust Cleaning Manager will develop and deliver an exceptional service across the Wellspring community, ensuring the schools are ready for pupils and all events and activities. Their approach needs to be engaging, persuasive, considerate and agile. Even more important will be their alignment with our mission, culture, ethos and values. These define and guide us.
Examples of the type of work the postholder will lead:
- Transforming the cleaning provision from a largely outsourced model to bespoke in-house provision.
- Empathetic leadership of our cleaning teams, including recruitment, training and development.
- Working in partnership with academy leaders to identify and deliver bespoke strategic and operational cleaning strategies.
- Lead cleaning process improvement.
- Manage cleaning related procurement exercises with a focus on quality, value and sustainability.
- Support cleaning capability and capacity development, nurturing and empowering talented colleagues.
- Actively promote health and safety and wellbeing.
- Ensure schools are cleaned with due care and attention, with particular regard to special events diary management.
- Drive reduction in waste and sustainability focus.
- Meet HSE and COSHH compliance across the Trust.
The successful candidate would be working within an experienced and supportive management team within the wider Operations function.
