Salary: Grade 10 Pay Point 23-26 ( £35,451 - £39,165 per annum)
Hours: 37 Hours per week; 52 Weeks per year

We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically skilled data professional to help transform how Discovery Schools Trust uses data. This role will develop dashboards, automate processes, improve reporting and provide insights that support decision-making across our schools.
The successful candidate does not need prior experience in education. We are looking for someone with strong technical skills, excellent communication, and a willingness to learn about the education sector.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled data professional to apply modern business intelligence, automation and data analytics techniques within a values-driven educational organisation. The successful candidate will use technologies such as Power BI, Power Query, DAX, Excel and Power Automate to develop dashboards, automate processes and provide actionable insights that improve outcomes for children and young people. Full support and training will be provided to develop expertise in educational assessment, accountability and school data systems.
Key Responsibilities (see the attached job description for a full list of duties and responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
- Design and improve automated processes using Power Automate and other digital tools
- Analyse data and provide clear insights to school and Trust leaders
- Support the effective use of Trust information systems and data platforms
- Deliver training and support to colleagues with varying levels of technical expertise
- Ensure data is accurate, secure and used effectively to improve organisational performance
- Contribute to the development of Trust-wide reporting and business intelligence solutions
- Develop knowledge of educational data, assessment systems and school performance measures through ongoing training and professional development
