Trust Deputy Catering Manager job summary

Endeavour Learning Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated Deputy Catering Manager to support the delivery of exceptional catering services across our family of schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong catering and leadership experience who is passionate about providing high-quality, nutritious meals to children and young people. Working closely with the Trust Catering Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that our catering operations are efficient, compliant, customer-focused, and aligned with the Trust's commitment to excellence.

About the Role

As Deputy Catering Manager, you will support the day-to-day management of catering services across the Trust, helping to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, customer service, and operational performance. You will work collaboratively with school-based catering teams, provide leadership and guidance to staff, and deputise for the Trust Catering Manager when required.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has substantial experience within a catering or food service environment.

Has previous supervisory or management experience.

Holds a Food Safety/Hygiene qualification

Has excellent organisational and communication skills.

Is committed to delivering high-quality customer service.

Has a good understanding of food safety legislation and best practice.

Can work flexibly across multiple school sites.

ROLE DETAILS

This position is full time, permanent and term time only plus three weeks. Working hours are 37 hours per week. Monday to Fridays 7:00am-3:00pm. Flexibility will be considered for the right candidate.

This role will be based at ELT Head Office with frequent travel between Trust schools and sites is an essential requirement of this role, mileage will be reimbursed as appropriate. Some home working available.
