Trust Deputy Head - cross-Trust working , permanent
£73,225 – £79,700 per annum
We are seeking an exceptional and inspirational Trust Deputy Head to join our dynamic team. This is a key leadership role, providing strategic and operational support across our schools. You will work closely with Heads, leading on school improvement initiatives, driving high standards of teaching and learning, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for all our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support school improvement initiatives.
- Drive high-quality teaching and learning across the Trust.
- Manage and develop staff, including performance management and professional development.
- Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the Trust.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, governors, and the wider community.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Successful leadership experience at Deputy Head level or equivalent in state-funded schools.
- Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Desirable Criteria:
- National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) or equivalent.
- Experience of working within a multi-academy trust.
- Car driver and access to a car
The Compass Partnership of Schools, based in the borough of Greenwich, became a Trust in July 2017 and has 13 primaries and an all-through special school with a free school opening in September 2025.
