What skills and experience we're looking for

Enhance Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an outstanding Educational Psychologist to join our growing Trust and play a key role in shaping inclusive practice across our family of schools. We are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of need, background, or starting point, receives an excellent education and the opportunity to thrive.

Working alongside our SEND and Inclusion Lead, you will provide high-quality educational psychology services across the Trust, supporting pupils, families, school leaders, SENCOs, and staff teams. Through consultation, assessment, training, intervention, and strategic development work, you will help strengthen our inclusive culture and improve outcomes for children and young people, particularly those with SEND and additional vulnerabilities.

We are looking for a talented and forward-thinking professional with the expertise to identify and promote best practice, the confidence to challenge and support colleagues, and the passion to make a meaningful difference to the lives of pupils and families.

The successful candidate will:

  • Champion inclusive practice across our schools and Trust.
  • Work directly with children, young people, families, and staff to improve outcomes.
  • Support the development of high-quality SEND and inclusion provision.
  • Build strong partnerships with Local Authorities, schools, academies, and professional networks.
  • Contribute strategically to the ongoing development of the Trust’s inclusion offer.
  • Deliver training and professional development that builds capacity within schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Educational Psychologist who shares our ambition and vision for inclusive education and is passionate about creating positive change at both an individual and organisational level as part of a Trust.

Applicants must hold appropriate Educational Psychology qualifications and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

To Apply In the first instance, please contact: Jenni Machin (Trust SEND & Inclusion Lead) Jenni.Machin@enhanceacad.org.uk to arrange an informal discussion about the role.
