Trust Facilities Contracts Manager job summary

GLF Schools is seeking a highly organised and proactive Trust Facilities Contracts Officer to join our Estates Team.

Your Opportunity

Based at our Banstead office with hybrid working available, this role offers the chance to lead on the mobilisation and management of facilities service contracts across our network of schools. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality service delivery, compliance, and value for money across contracts such as cleaning, groundskeeping, and utilities. Working closely with suppliers, school teams, and Trust colleagues, you’ll oversee contract performance, lead service review meetings, and support the procurement of new contracts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills to make a tangible impact across a multi-academy trust.

Please note that travel across school sites will be essential, so the successful candidate must hold a valid UK Driving licence and have access to their own vehicle. 

What we are looking for

We’re looking for someone who can bring expertise, professionalism and a collaborative approach to our Estates team. You’ll be:

  • Experienced in managing facilities services contracts, including mobilisation and performance monitoring.
  • Skilled in leading service review meetings and building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Confident in analysing data, writing reports, and making recommendations for service improvements.
  • Knowledgeable in contract compliance, KPIs, and quality assurance in a public sector context.
  • Able to resolve service delivery issues and negotiate with providers to ensure continuity and quality.
  • Comfortable working across multiple sites, with a valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Organised, methodical and resilient, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Details

Salary: GLF Senior Specialist - £42,848 FTE

Location: The Beacon School, Banstead/ Hybrid / Visits to schools where required

Contract type: Permanent, 36hrs per week - full time.

Start Date: ASAP
