What skills and experience we're looking for
Based in the central team (with a desk in our Southampton office) but must be willing and able to travel to our schools in Southampton and Hampshire, as required.
About The Role
At Inspire Learning Partnership, our schools are at the heart of their communities, and we are looking for a dedicated Trust Facilities Manager to help shape the learning environment for thousands of children. As we set to expand, you'll be joining us at a fantastic time. You will play a key strategic role in shaping long-term estate plans, leading meaningful projects that positively impact on our children's learning and wellbeing. Quite simply, we are seeking someone who is passionate about creating safe, compliant and inspiring learning environments, to consistently exceptional standards.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with our fantastic Site Managers, ensuring they lead and further enhance our culture of high standards for cleanliness, safety and security
- Overseeing health and safety compliance, working with members of our central team, school leaders and (the best part), our wonderful children
- Managing budgets and contracts for maintenance, utilities and services, to achieve the best value for our schools
- Leading the work on our Climate Action Plan to ensure a brighter and greener future for generations to come
- Working with colleagues on exciting estate development projects,from planning improvements to securing funding bids
- Building strong relationships with contractors, staff, and the wider community
