Faringdon Learning Trust are seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to our established central Trust Finance Team. The post holder will be responsible for developing comprehensive and consistent financial procedures, production and monitoring of budgets and the delivery of financial support across all schools within Faringdon Learning Trust.
With line management responsibility for our team of Finance Staff, you should be detail focussed with strong organisation skills and a commitment to delivering accurate budgets and maintaining excellent financial management across the Trust. Financial experience working within a school environment or local Government would be desirable, but is not essential.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
Substantial financial experience working at senior level ideally CCAB qualified / part qualified but full AAT will be considered
Ability to co-ordinate effectively with others delivering a service orientated approach;
Payroll and BACS experience with a proven record of final check responsibility
Excellent knowledge of financial procedures and regulations
Experience using specialist financial systems such as PS Financials, BPS or other computerised accounts system should be demonstrated on application. A good practical knowledge of MS Excel is essential.
