Trust Finance Officer job summary
Soke Education Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance Officer to join our small centralised finance team, supporting six thriving primary schools across our Trust. This is a part time role, working 32 hours a week, term time plus one week (39 week of the year). The working pattern can be flexible across Monday to Friday.
What you'll do:
- Work alongside our Trust Finance Manager to deliver high-quality financial processing and administration.
- Play a key role in maintaining robust financial controls and supporting the long-term sustainability of our Trust.
- Support budget monitoring, maintain accurate financial records, and provide timely financial information to inform decision-making.
- Build strong working relationships with staff across the Trust, contributing to a culture of accountability and high standards.
What we're looking for:
- AAT qualification (or equivalent) and previous experience in finance administration.
- Organised, flexible, and able to work effectively in a busy environment.
- Experience with school finances is desirable, but not essential.
- Strong IT, communication, and organisational skills.
